Members of the NRR have produced over 35 peer reviewed published papers.
They have been cited over 3,000 times in the scientific literature.
A number of these papers were produced in collaboration with the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) of the United States.
The articles deal with anything from the technical aspects of the engineering of orthopaedic devices, to patient activity and satisfaction following joint replacement surgery and the cellular response to debris which is shed from the implants.
In one of the main British orthopaedic journals, the Bone and Joint Research journal, NRR publications stand first and second in the rank of citations over the last five years.
